During the several years of insurgency in Acholi Sub region, majority of people faced displacement from their homes to Internally Displaced Persons Camps while some moved to much safer districts where they had relatives.
Government eventually declared it safe for people to return to their original villages in 2007.
However, during all these movements, some parents died leaving their children in the care of relatives.
Some of these children who were at the moment young and did not know the boundaries of the land their parents owned are now in conflict with relatives.
